In 1961 RCA Victor reissued all the Brazilian 50's EPs on 45rpm for a last time and right after reissued them on the new format, 33rpm, with simple sleeves (very fragile) and the new black Compact Double 33 label. The 33 format would be the standard for the Brazilian market from then onwards.

One of the surprises that I got from this album was an omission. Elvis sang a song for "King Creole" that was never used in the movie nor released until 1990. That unused song was called "Danny" (the name of Elvis's character in the movie). I'm surprised that this song is not included here.
