About Greatest Hits. The Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ Greatest Hits album was released in 2003, featuring most, but not all, of their Warner Records singles since Blood Sugar Sex Magic (1991), along with two new songs, and one track from the EMI days, the Stevie Wonder cover Higher Ground. The last one is the only track not produced by Rick Rubin, a longtime friend and producer of Chili Pepper albums. Some of the absences in the CD are featured in the DVD version with the music videos from the period

The best Red Hot chili peppers album. Funky metal, metalish funk, whatever you want to call it this was the Red hot chili peppers. They had a sound they never had before and never duplicated ever again on this album. 1. Red Hot Chili Peppers: Greatest Hits 2. Mother's Milk 3. Blood Sugar Sex Magik.

Red Hot Chili Peppers Greatest Hits (Full Album). 6 years ago 6 years ago. Rock 'n' Roll.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers' first Warner Bros. Greatest Hits album spans almost 15 years of rock greatness. The CD+DVD version of Greatest Hits adds a DVD disc of 16 of the band's best-known videos.

"Danish album certifications – Red Hot Chili Peppers – Greatest Hits". Retrieved February 10, 2013. The album was produced by Danger Mouse, marking the first time since 1989s Mothers Milk that the Red Hot Chili Peppers had not worked with Rubin, and topped the charts in ten different countries. Red Hot Chili Peppers were formed in Los Angeles by singer Anthony Kiedis, guitarist Hillel Slovak, bassist Flea, and drummer Jack Irons, all of whom were classmates from Fairfax High School.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers' Greatest Hits is a compelling listen, culling tracks from the band's 1989 breakthrough, Mother's Milk, to its melodic 2002 release, By the Way. In some ways, one could view this as the best of the John Frusciante years, charting most of the band's work with the talented guitarist after the death of original member Hillel Slovak
