Bernard Parmegiani produced a large number of jingles, soundtracks, and indicatives, but Rock stands apart in his repertoire. He recorded it without any outside constraints in his own studio. On listening to Rock, one is reminded of John Carpenter or François de Roubaix: a work which mixes the sounds of the TR-808 drum-machine, Synthi AKS, Farfisa organ, and Clavinet. Remastered from the original master tapes; Includes exclusive liner notes. Transversales specialize in the reissues of long lost tapes, rare original soundtracks, and library

Bernard Parmegiani (born in Paris, France, 27 October 1927; died 22 November 2013) was a composer best known for his electronic or acousmatic music. Echoing giantreptile here, a sublime find of the peerless Parmegiani that's outstanding in quality and music. This is a rare gem among the storm of re-issues flooding shops, and definitely one for the heads. My copy is beautifully pressed and plays without a crackle.

Probably one of the best finds out of all the historical synth and soundtrack mining that’s been happening. Not a single track wasted. Vinyl quality is good too, no problem with my copy.

Truly awful pressing, diabolical. This is why I so seldom buy vinyl these days. Ugh.Side 2 is better than side 1 which clicks and crackles more or less though the entire side.

My copy bought factory sealed is a little bit warped but I can fix the problem.Plays 'fine'Sound quality is very good .No cracles.

sounds top notch over here, no crackle, neither on side A nor on side B.

I found this crackly too (though personally not obtrusive). A thorough clean and a couple of plays seem to have alleviated most of the problems but for sure, it's not a classical-grade pressing. I place the blame on the card inner sleeve - it's a shame labels so often compromise their releases for the sake of a few pennies saved by not presenting their records in quality, poly-lined inners!

Sometimes it can help a tremendous deal to clean it with some antistatic fluid. I've had this multiple times with brand new records. Hope this helps.

It was a brand new sealed copy. Side 1 crackles all the way through, unlistenable. Got it in the post and can't be bothered to return - I'll put it with all the other sub-standard records I've bought recently. After 50 years of buying vinyl I'm finally kicking the habit.>edithttps://jfitoussi.bandcamp.com/album/five-steps
