Psychefunkapus was an experimental funk rock band. They released two albums for Atlantic Records in the early nineties. They got their name from their love of psychedelic music and a reference to a Pfunk song warning the coming of the "Funkapus". Basic styles are hard rock and funky, but you can listen elements of heavy metal, thrash metal, jazz or soul in their music.

Great to hear this again- Both Psychefunkapus albums are in my all-time top 10 and were in my car playing loud throughout the 90s. Think they'll be in the car again!
