Although not as strong as Nicks' three previous solo dates, The Other Side of the Mirror is a decent album that has many more pluses than minuses. While there are a few less-than-memorable moments, some of the songs - including "Long Way to Go," "Ghosts," and "Whole Lotta Trouble" - are fairly strong

Mirror, Mirror (Stevie Nicks album). Mirror, Mirror is an unreleased studio album by American singer-songwriter and Fleetwood Mac vocalist Stevie Nicks. Recorded in 1984, Nicks was set to release the album but it was pulled because Nicks was unhappy with the way it was recorded. Most of the songs were scrapped and the rest became Nicks' Rock a Little album released in 1985. Most of the tracks were stolen from Nicks and released as bootlegs.

With the tag-line " The darker side of the mirror " i had some hopes of this movie. With a really good original story about the break between childhood and growing up, i hoped that this was some kind of dark sequel like what we have with the wizard of Oz. Instead what we get is what i assume is the local cos-player/ civil war re-enactment/ steam-punk group trying their hardest to act without any kind of budget.

The project originally started out under the working title of "Mirror, Mirror", after a track of the same name which Nicks had composed in 1984, and which was originally intended to be both the title of her 1985 album release (which was eventually re-titled Rock a Little), and the lead track on that album. However, the song has famously become something of a 'lost track' for Nicks, as it was dropped in 1988 in favour of the theme track "Alice"
