The Band is the second studio album by the Band, released on September 22, 1969. It is also known as The Brown Album. According to Rob Bowman's liner notes for the 2000 reissue, The Band has been viewed as a concept album, with the songs focusing on people, places and traditions associated with an older version of Americana.

The Trowbridge & District Youth Band (TDYB) is an organisation providing opportunities for young people in the Trowbridge, Wiltshire area to learn to play brass instruments together in a band. Our band plays an active part in the local community through public performances at concerts, fêtes, churches and other community events. Band practice is on Saturday mornings at Trowbridge Arts (formerly the Town Hall). Thanks to the sterling efforts of parents, the removal of all our instruments and music library was executed very efficiently, and we are ready to start rehearsals in our new home on Saturday 7 Jan 20167 at . 0 am.
