Kajagoogoo /kædʒəˈɡuːɡuː/ were a British new wave band, best known for their 1983 hit single "Too Shy", which reached No. 1 in the UK Singles Chart, and the Top 10 in numerous other countries. Formed in Leighton Buzzard in 1978, the band were originally known as Art Nouveau, a four-piece avant-garde group, with Nick Beggs on bass guitar, Steve Askew on lead guitar, Stuart Croxford Neale on keyboards, and Jeremy "Jez" Strode on drums. Art Nouveau released a track called "The Fear Machine".

This comes as a result of Parlophone which included half of EMI going to Warners who decided to put some of their new catalogue titles into their budget priced Original Album Series and Kajagoogoo and Limahl were a unique situation as the band proper had only three studio albums and Limahl had two solo so it made sense to put them all together.

The album was co-produced by the band themselves, now a four-piece group, along with Colin Thurston, who had also produced their debut, White Feathers. It is the final album to-date to feature founding drummer Jez Strode. The album did not sell as well as its predecessor, peaking at no. 35 in the UK Albums Chart. The album's first single, "Big Apple", reached no. 8 in the UK, but subsequent singles were less successful with "The Lion's Mouth" peaking at no. 25, and "Turn Your Back on Me" reaching no. 47.

Parlophone Label Group will issue a Kajagoogoo and Limahl five-CD Original Album Series set in January 2014. Expect the usual no-frills packaging with simple card jackets for the CDs and a thin card slipcase to hold the individual albums. The Kajagoogoo and Limahl Original Album Series is released on 13 January 2014
