Someone to Love You" offers the whole range of predictable formulas that hitmakers used to generate hits circa 2002. There are the club tracks, the "thug" tracks, the "freaky" tracks, the slow jams, the rap collabos, the "international" track, and the "love or money" song. Then again, I suppose there's something to be said for the fact that this was the last we've heard of Ruff Endz. As it is, it's a totally generic album in every sense with remarkably inconsistent content. Fans of early-2000s R&B may enjoy some of it, but others should just spring for the title cuts and other highlights.
