Alquin was a Dutch progressive rock band which released four studio albums in the 1970s. The band split in 1977. They made a comeback in 2003 and in September 2005 they released a new album. With their reunions do many acts from the 1960s and 1970s, good business. The high number of prosperous people over sixty guarantees a lucrative sales market and for an evening youth sentiment are many forever young best to poke. Only few bands know after such a restart still something substantial to add to their oeuvre. The Delft group Alquin, an Institute within the progrockgenre in the 1970s, is an exception to that rule.
