TA13OO is Denzel’s critically acclaimed third studio album, released on July 27, 2018. Upon release, the album debuted at on Billboard 200, making it his first entry on the chart. The album is also split into 3 acts: - Light: The Beginning (released on July 25th, 2018) - Gray: The Middle (released on July 26th, 2018) - Dark: The End (released on July 27th, 2018, completing the album). Each previously-released single represents one of the album’s acts, as SUMO ZUMO represents Light, CLOUT COBAIN CLOUT CO13A1N represents Gray, and PERCS PERCZ represents Dark, which come together.

In the chaotic arena that is SoundCloud rap, Denzel Curry has etched out his own distinct realm. Presumably he doesn’t mind being tagged as a SoundCloud rapper, as murky and hard to define as that term is. It was just in May that Curry went to the mattresses to uphold his version of the genre’s history, using Twitter and interviews to torpedo Smokepurpp’s claim to have fathered the movement.

This album just doesn't have the bite I thought it would, he kinda played it safe here to me. The last 3 tracks are the top 3 imo, there were also many bad lines on this album, most of the beats are pretty dime a dozen too. Denzel's consistently sticky hooks and incredibly cut throat and untamed performances are what carried this thing for me, outside of that I can't say this has fulfilled me like I wanted it to.
