The six-minute "The Day No One Needed to Know" shows this recipe perfectly, as it fades near the halfway point, leaving vocalist Kenny Bridges singing alone, until the song - yup - kicks back in for an exuberant ending.

The 11 songs on "The Red Tree" were, in fact, so intensely transcribed, that pedals and amplifiers literally went up in smoke during the many months in which it was recorded. The instant the album kicks off, a shockwave of sonic guitar energy immediately aims to redefine the band's sound, and as the songs progress, more and more of these sonic guitar sounds are revealed

To like something or not is a personal opinion. However if you can not appreciate the musicianship and quality moneen puts out your opinion means squat. This album is fantastic and does a brilliant job of progressing their musical talents. was a break through for them and this just follows that with a perfect maturing process. Production quality on this album is superb and I would give "The Red Tree" a .

As a budding artist, Mondrian began painting simple pastoral landscapes of his home country, and these paintings evolved from those beginning artistic ideas. In the abstraction of the color of the tree and the simple design, Mondrian’s aesthetic style is already present in this simple landscape. This piece was only a stepping stone in the artist’s development into his ideal form of neo-plasticism.

Received my box set from the web store this week. Minor differences from what was sold at the shows... no red ribbon tied around the box, and the 7" is housed inside a clear plastic sleeve instead of the white paper one seen in the photos posted here. The tape has 4 unreleased demos (2 new songs and 2 demos from previously released songs)... a must listen if you're a big moneen fan! Mine isn't numbered, although i'm not sure if any of them were?
