My Dry Wet Mess will release Stereo Typing on November 13th. The album comes after a particularly nomadic period in Giovanni Civitenga's life, now based in Berlin. Recorded over the course of 15 months, the LP utilizes a mixture of live instruments and sampled recordings for a sound that touches on R&B and hip-hop. Stereo Typing features contributions from Eva Puyuelo, Civitenga's father (on guitar) and vocals from NYC resident Maryam Modarressi, whose sampled voice is a constant throughout the album.
