Black Board Jungle, often called Blackboard Jungle Dub, is a studio album by The Upsetters. The album, originally released in 1973 under artist name "Upsetters 14 Dub", was pressed in only 300 copies and only issued in Jamaica. According to Pauline Morisson, this was the first ever dub album that came out, although there is a lot of speculation on the subject. Nevertheless, this was the first stereo dub album, as well as the first to include reverb

The landmark Blackboard Jungle Dub has been released numerous times since 1973. Originally it was released in Jamaica as "Upsetters 14 Dub Blackboard Jungle" in very limited numbers (~300) in a true stereo mix. Since then, there have been various issues of this famous album, all in varying degrees of quality - the original master tapes are lost forever. Most important here is that David Katz's reissue on the Auralux label is mastered from an original 1973 pressing and through analog equipment
