Whose Side Are You On? is the debut album by British band Matt Bianco, released in 1984. For this album, Matt Bianco was a trio of Basia Trzetrzelewska (vocals), Mark Reilly (vocals), and Danny White (keyboards). The album contains the band's first five UK Singles Chart hits, including "Get Out of Your Lazy Bed", "Sneaking Out the Back Door", "Matt's Mood", "Half a Minute" and "More Than I Can Bear". All are sung by Trzetrzelewska and Reilly, except "Matt's Mood" which is an instrumental.

Matt Bianco are a British band that was formed in 1983. They are mainly known for their success in the mid-1980s and their jazz, Latin-flavoured music. According to the group, Matt is in fact "a made up spy, a secret agent; we loved spy TV themes and film scores". He dropped out of the group before the recording of Matt Bianco's first album Whose Side Are You On? (1984). For the album, the group was officially a trio of Reilly, White, and Trzetrzelewska. A concept album of high caliber: Whose Side Are You On? is a collection of songs about freedom and how to reach it, for sure. It's more related to the iron courtain than anything else. It's a shame that the CD doesn't feature the Basia/Reilly version of "More Than I Can Bear," we get the Mark Reilly-only version. Too bad Matt Bianco is just known for their 1988 hit "Don't Blame It On That Girl" (from the album Indigo, which is a very good record and we can talk about this later.
