Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach (8 March 1714 – 14 December 1788), also formerly spelled Karl Philipp Emmanuel Bach, was a German Classical period musician and composer, the fifth child and second (surviving) son of Johann Sebastian Bach and Maria Barbara Bach. His second name was given in honor of his godfather Georg Philipp Telemann, a friend of Johann Sebastian Bach.

Teleman are an English indie pop band formed in London in 2012. The group consists of Thomas Sanders (vocals, guitar), Jonny Sanders (synths), Pete Cattermoul (bass) and Hiro Amamiya (drums). Cattermoul and the Sanders brothers were previously members of the indie pop band Pete and the Pirates. Thomas Sanders has also recorded music under his solo name, Tap Tap.

The refurbished Telemann museum now also features CPE Bach and Hasse as well. Still only recently opened, the English translations are still being made. Yet, as soon as the staff discovered we weren't native German speakers, one proceeded to give us a tour of the museum. We expected a few translations here and there of the main points, but instead we learned vastly more than was on the information boards. Our guide had extensive knowledge of all 3 composers and excellent English as well.
