Eva has been a member of numerous bands including Malibu Falcon and Jackie-O Motherfucker. She has collaborated with Yellow Swans (most notably on their 2005 album 'Psychic Seccesion') and Lemon Bear, with whom she has recorded a number of releases. Her debut LP, Brute Nature Versus Wild Magic, was released on Weird Forest in 2005.

Inca Ore’s half is even better, the nativism of her namesake shining through in moments of ritual minimalism spooky enough to humble the World Serpent Distribution crew. It’s about as lo-fi as they come, shaped more by the hollowness of its spaces than the roughness of its grainy fibers. Baby Tiger, I Went Far Away is nothing more than voice accompanied by a screechy reverberated violin while Churpa Champurrado is just pounding toms colored by whistles and whines.

Inca Ore and Grouper, two of the finest names in noise-folk, are reissuing their rare cassette split on vinyl for the second time. Remastered and featuring new artwork, the album’s haunting melodies and echoing vocals never sounded so beautiful. Recorded during a combination of a nightmare Mexico trip and heavy storms, the album is appropriately bleak in all the best ways. Published on July 22, 2011 17:18 Berlin Time.
