Troy Sneed is a singer/producer with a long, distinguished career in gospel music. His first album, Call Jesus, appeared in 1999, and from that point forward the Jacksonville, Florida-based singer remained a prominent figure in modern black gospel. Born in Perry, Florida on December 14, 1967, Sneed played football in high school, but after sustaining an injury while playing for Florida A&M, he chose to concentrate on gospel music.
