Listen free to The Proclaimers – Born Innocent (Born Innocent, Should Have Been Loved and more). The Proclaimers brought us the madly addictive hit, I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles), which found a home in American’s minds and Top 10 charts in the early ‘90’s. This album holds true to their head-bobbing, metronome pace of pop and Scottish quirkiness, with lyrics like, I like the smell of petrol/I love the taste of booze ( Hate My Love ).

Finest (The Proclaimers album). Finest is a compilation album by Scottish band The Proclaimers, released in 2003. I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" – 3:39. Sunshine on Leith" – 5:15. Leaving Home" – 3:09. We're born innocent, found guilty Living life is treated like a crime We're born innocent, found guilty Everytime Our best never beats our worst Its a funny as its perverse We're born innocent, found guilty Everytime. Blame parents blame religion And the papers and the television Blame ourselves for causing pain We love to blame We ditch the things that we make Us hate ourselves Just to replace them with something else We're born innocent, found guilty Everytime
