Blues Pills is the debut studio album by Swedish rock band Blues Pills, released on July 25, 2014 by Nuclear Blast Records. The album consists of ten tracks including some re-recorded releases from previous EPs and a cover of the Chubby Checker song Gypsy. Two singles were released, High Class Woman and No Hope Left For Me, and both songs had music videos by Nuclear Blast.

Mono was recorded during the sessions for Secret History of the World and explores Jonathan Allen's obsession with kraut rock. The result is something more than a simple exercise and hints at sounds from future recordings. Purchasable with gift card. More than just a band, Music for Headphones is a trajectory through the past of post-punk, electronic and psychedelic music, through shoegaze and spacerock into some kind of future unknown. Categories and boundaries are permeable and constantly moving as MFH carves out its own place in music, riding familiar arches and charting unfamiliar territory, rendering the word genre almost meaningless.

The original album version is the first presented, followed by "Life In Mono - Propellerheads Alice Band Mix," which is has more percussion and bass, and less keyboard magic. Life In Mono - Propellerheads Sweat Band Mix" is less appealing - it's funereal and cluttered with sound, losing the actual song somewhere in the heavy production. And "Life in Mono" is an enchanting song, even if it loses some of its magic under the thick layers of bass and percussion here, along with some heavy electronic work.
