Syrophenikan ‎(CD, Album, RE). Dossier. I've owned almost all of the Leeb/Fulber 90's side projects and Syrophenikan is pretty much at the head of the class. They pulled off the dark tribal-electronic thing incredibly well with a minimum of obvious stolen samples and cheese. Sampled middle-eastern vocals, pounding tribal rhythms, ominous synth effects, all mixed together for maximum atmosphere. Perfect late night headphone music.
