James Yorkston, an artist not unfamiliar with the notion of collaboration, has opened the studio doors to a broad and brilliant selection of players on this his eighth studio album.

Since his debut in 2002, each James Yorkston album has been a semi-structured unspooling of the mind and heart, captained by a host of disparate producers yet threaded together in one lifelong narrative. All songs recorded and mixed at Livingston Studios by Jonanthan Gilmore except 'You & Your Sister' which was recorded by James Yorkston on his phone and Side 4 which was recorded at Anstruther Harbour and mixed by James Yorkston.
