Spirit is the sixth studio album by singer-songwriter Amos Lee. It was released August 16, 2016 on the John Varvatos imprint of Republic Records, Lee's first album on a label other than Blue Note Records. It is also the first album which Lee self-produced. Amos Lee (born Ryan Anthony Massaro, June 20, 1977) is an American singer-songwriter whose musical style encompasses folk, rock and soul. He was born in Philadelphia and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in English. After working as a schoolteacher and bartender he began to pursue a career in music.
