Feed Me Weird Things Album Cover Art. Squarepusher. Cover Art. Tracklist. CD 1. 1. Squarepusher Theme. length: 6:20 producer: Tom Jenkinson.
Hard Normal Daddy and Feed Me Weird Things are two albums that I don't think in all these years Tom has surpassed (and both have, let's say, questionable names for albums, don't you think?). His newer works just don't reflect his creativity in the correct way. FMWT is a bit darker than Hard Normal Daddy but does not lack in the insane drum programming and Amen chopping. This is what I call a powerful album. Feed me with weird things is one of my favourite release from Squarepusher. Reply Notify me 1 Helpful.
Feed Me Weird Things. By: Squarepusher (1996, Electronic). Wrong audio? Try another! More albums from Squarepusher
That being said, Feed Me Weird Things is probably the best place to start for people with an itching to try Squarepusher. First off, I have to say that Jenkinson makes some of the most detailed and intricate IDM this side of Autechre or Aphex Twin. Layers upon layers of manically crafted drum machines, basslines, and synths are assembled together richly and compellingly.

Ultravisitor incorporates many of the various musical styles exhibited by Jenkinson on his previous albums, including drum and bass, acid techno, jazz fusion, and electronic noise. Several of the instrumental parts were recorded live and include applause, blurring the lines between live and studio performances. Tom Jenkinson has stated that "Ultravisitor is my spectacle of beauty and of terror.

The debut full-length from Squarepusher is quite a jazzy affair, especially for an album appearing on the Aphex Twin's Rephlex label. It's no less experimental than the sonic terrorism employed by the Aphex Twin himself, but Feed Me Weird Things keys on Tom Jenkinson's experience as a bassist.
