Wrath of Daimajin (1966). Daimajin gyakushû (original title). Not Rated 1h 19min Fantasy December 2011 (USA). In a mountainous region of Japan, Lord Arakawa kidnaps the men of nearby villages to use as slave labor, producing gunpowder from his sulfur pits. Daimajin awakes this time in a snow storm, and rest is a bad day for the evil warlord and his soldiers. The production isn't as good as the previous Daimajin movie as the movie relies heavily on the acting ability of the four very young actors. They put in a surprisingly good performance, but they're no Jody Foster in "Taxi Driver". The caliber of other actors aren't as high as well.

Daimajin (大魔神 Daimajin, lit. Giant Demon God) is a stone warrior yokai created by Daiei that first appeared in the 1966 film, Daimajin. The exact nature of the Daimajin is unknown, but it is worshiped as a god and protector by the Hanabusa, Chigusa, and Nagoshi peoples, in addition to an unnamed people in Daimajin Strikes Again.

The tyrannical Lord Danjo Mikoshiba covets the rich, fertile lands surrounding Lake Yakumo. During a memorial ceremony for the late Chigusa lord, Mikoshiba launches an attack, overthrowing the honorable Lord Juro. The tyrannical Lord Danjo Mikoshiba covets the rich, fertile lands surrounding Lake Yakumo. Just when all seems lost, Daimajin rises from Lake Yakumo to settle a score of his own. Featured Crew. Running time: 1:19:00.

Wrath of Daimajin A brutal warlord tries to stop the flow of refugees fleeing his kingdom by conquering his neighbors, but when he chases an escaped prince into the peaceful lakeside refuge of the worshippers of Majin (located on the island in the center of the lake), he is cursed by the prince's dying father
