Consumer Guide Album. Grant Hart: 2541 Hart played drums and wrote catchy tunes for a trio called Hüsker Dü. On this three-song breakaway, he reminds us that Hüsker Dü was a guitar band.

Also performed by: Robert Forster, Marshall Crenshaw. Album: Intolerance (1989). Translations: Catalan, Spanish. Jimmy gave us the number. Jerry gave us a place to stay. And Billy got a hold of a van. And man we moved in the very next day. To 2541. Big windows to let in the sun. 2541. Well I put down the money. And I picked up the keys.
2541 Original recording. Grant Hart Format: Vinyl. This is a studio EP (or CD-single) released in support of Grant Hart's solo album Intolerance back in 1988. I like the alternate versions of "2541" and "Come Come. They're paced more calmly than the album versions and have a nice wide mix with some reverb (not too much) and female backing vocals
