The southern Italian folk songs on this album probably sound fairly similar to those of the 13th century, when troubadours entertained the King of Naples and Sicily. Adana was a part of the 15 minute suite of dances Atanas choreographed for Radost in 1979 which Radost performed for many years, including a 1981 public performance in Skopje with Atanas and members of the Tanec Macedonian National Ensemble in the front row.
