Zombie Nation - Unload feat.

Zombie Nation ‎– Unload. I loved the "disco diva vocals", it made me laugh. I had to listen to the track a second listening to before listening to the rest of the album. Call Center" although "stardard" Zombie Nation material, it's a pretty damn good track. It reminds me of a Sci-Fi movie I once saw. "Step By Step" took me a couple times to get used to. I'm still not sure about the vocals in this one however. Overall this album is an all around good vibe. 4/5. Reply Notify me Helpful.

I'll have to agree it totaly has that "Unlaod", "early 80's Eurythmics" flavour to it. I loved the "disco diva vocals", it made me laugh. The track "Unload" is pretty phenomenal in an early 80's Eurythmics/"I Feel Love" sort of a way. The disco diva vocals confused me initially - "What the hell is this? Wot no vocoder?" - but after the first 3 minutes I was hooked. The tune drags you into a total disco vortex and it's the sort of groove that you just don't want to stop. Top notch. "Call Centre" is pretty much standard Zombie Nation fare. Functional electro-techno. But the remix of Divine's "Step By Step" is pretty damn good in a sort of "How on earth can you beat the original" kinda way. This is a gem of a record if you like yer sleaze!
