The Isley Brothers is a highly influential, successful and long-running American music group consisting of different line-ups of six brothers, and a brother-in-law, Chris Jasper. The founding members were O'Kelly Isley, Jr. (1937 - 1986), Rudolph Isley, Ronald Isley and Vernon Isley (1942–1955). They are the only act to have at least one Hot 100 hit in each of six consecutive decades: the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. The Isleys (as they are commonly called) were inducted to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1992.

The Young Rascals is the debut album by rock band The Young Rascals. The album was released on March 28, 1966, and rose to on the Billboard Top LPs chart and in Cashbox. Most of the songs on The Young Rascals were covers of songs written or originally performed by other artists, with only "Do You Feel It" authored by the band.
The Young Rascals is that rare example of a genuinely great album that got heard and played, and sold and sold. Apart from the presence of a hit ("Good Lovin'") to drive sales, every kid (and his girlfriend) in any aspiring white rock band on the East Coast in 1966 seemingly owned a copy
The Isley Brothers guitarist talks about his gear, career, and living with Hendrix. When it comes to acts with both staying power and the chops to rule the rock, pop, funk, and R&B charts, it would be difficult to top the Isley Brothers. A critical part of the Isley's evolution was the inclusion of rock-flavored guitar early on. In fact, The Isley Brothers were among the first to recognize the fiery skills of a young guitarist from Seattle called Jimmy (later known as Jimi) Hendrix. Hendrix, while a sideman with the band, lived in the Isley home for nearly two years-a stay that enormously influenced the subject of our interview: Ernie Isley

Listen to albums and songs from The Isley Brothers. About The Isley Brothers. The Isleys have had success in many genres since their beginnings in the 1950s, arguably hitting their peak and writing some of their tightest music in the '70s. From "Who's That Lady" to "It's Your Thing," they've produced numerous hits that are still blaring on radios (and commercials) across the land. Among other accomplishments, they toured with a young guitarist named Jimmy James (later known as Jimi Hendrix - his work can be heard on the single "Testify"). From Doo-Wop songs to Soul tracks, Funk grooves to Disco beats, the Isley Brothers have always remembered how to inject a memorable melody into every number they record.
