There Must Be More to Life Than This" is the eighth track on Queen singer Freddie Mercury's debut solo album Mr. Bad Guy, released on 29 April 1985 by Columbia Records. The song was originally recorded by Queen for 1982's Hot Space, but failed to make the final version of the album. It was previously recorded as a duet between Mercury and Michael Jackson, along with two other songs: "State of Shock" (later reworked with Mick Jagger for a version by The Jacksons) and "Victory" (which remains unreleased).

More than words to show you feel That your love for me is real What would you say if I took those words away? Then you couldn't make things new Just by saying I love you. More than words. Now that I've tried to talk to you and make you understand All you have to do is close your eyes And just reach out your hands and touch me Hold me close don't ever let me go More than words is all I ever needed you to show Then you wouldn't have to say that. you love me 'Cause I'd already know. More Than Words is a single from Extreme’s 1990 album Extreme II: Pornograffiti. It was written by Nuno Bettencourt & Gary Cherone. According to Nuno Bettencourt, the song is described as a warning that the phrase ‘I love you’ was becoming meaningless, stating: People use it so easily and so lightly that they think you can say that and fix everything, or you can say that and everything’s OK.

More than words La di da, da di da, di dai dai da. Now I've tried to talk to you and make you understand All you have to do is close your eyes And just reach out your hands and touch me Hold me close don't ever let me go More than words is all I ever needed you to show Then you wouldn't have to say that you love me 'Cause. Song MeaningMany people claim that this song is about asking for sex. I guess that could be half right. The song is saying how the phrase "I love you" is overused to the point it no longer means anything, yet people still use it and think it will fix things or make their significant other feel loved.

In other words, loneliness is something I've never been bothered with because I've always had this terrible itch for solitude. It's being at a party, or at a stadium full of people cheering for something, that I might feel loneliness. I'll quote Ibsen, "The strongest men are the most alone. I've never thought, "Well, some beautiful blonde will come in here and give me a fuck-job, rub my balls, and I'll feel good. The loneliest moment in someone’s life is when they are watching their whole world fall apart, and all they can do is stare blankly. F. Scott Fitzgerald. I will protect you until you die, and after your death I will still protect you. I am stronger than Depression and I am braver than Loneliness and nothing will ever exhaust me. ― Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat, Pray, Love. tags: comfort, healing, loneliness.

Dino from Larissa, GreeceOur life is like this songs. Daniel from Columbus, OhBrian May mentioned in an interview after Freddie's death that the entire album and its' songs were recorded with the knowledge that Freddie was sick. Looking back at the songs on the album, you can definitely see the knowledge by the entire group that Freddie wasn't going to be around much longer and this song is a perfect example of that .

Being alone is more painful than getting hurt. But I hate being lonely. Your life will get better when you realize it’s better to be alone than to chase people who don’t really care about you. Hello, darkness, my old friend. I have to talk with you, again. I restore myself when I’m alone. Being alone with your feelings is the worst because you have nowhere to run.

More often than not, the words in Lemonade were eerie. What does it all mean? Beyoncé speaks slowly and distinctly against quiet backgrounds with crickets in the distance. Anger" ends with the words "Why can't you see me? Everyone else can," while "Apathy" begins with, "So what are you gonna say at my funeral, now that you've killed me?" In the middle of "Resurrection," she says, "Why are you afraid of love? You think it's not possible for someone like you. But you are the love of my life. These words are truly haunting, and will give us a lot to dissect and talk about going forward. In true Beyoncé style. Images: Beyonce/YouTube; Giphy.
