Farmakon - A Warm Glimpse (2003) Farmakon.
Forrest just released his debut album "Warm" (produced w/ Biskwiq) and it's absolutely incredible. This kid is seriously killin it, keep an eye on this one!
Genre: Singer-Songwriter. Jeff Tweedy's latest album offers a welcome dose of head and heart at a time when both ought to be celebrated a little more.
Warm Leatherette is the fourth studio album by Grace Jones, released on 9 May 1980 by Island Records. The album features contributions from the reggae production duo Sly and Robbie and is a departure from Jones' earlier disco sound, moving towards a new wave-reggae direction. Although having established herself as a performer with a string of club hits in the US and a large gay following, Jones had only achieved very modest commercial success with her first three disco albums.
A companion to the book, WARM radiates with similar openness. Characters and quotes reappear; old influences become newly apparent; words are not minced. A scene from his time in rehab during the early 2000s is retold in the bleary opener Bombs Above. In the most harrowing section of his memoir, Tweedy writes that Wilco’s impressionistic 2004 album A Ghost Is Born was sculpted during the throes of opiate addiction as an attempt to leave a comprehensive self-portrait for his sons in his absence. Written from a more stable perspective, WARM mirrors that eulogistic process with a more straightforward, less metaphorical bent.

What are you waiting for?
Now we have WARM, which while technically Tweedy’s second solo record is his first comprised completely of original music. Like its non-Wilco predecessors, the 11-track affair doesn’t do much to create dividers between the man and his long-running band. But it does tie in closer with some chapters of the band’s history than others. The Good: I leave behind a trail of songs, from the darkest gloom to the brightest sun, Tweedy whisper-sings on album-opener Bombs Away.
