Starting in 2002 as a mixture of avant-garde and improvised jazz fusion, and evolving into more narrative sonic concepts referring to sacred chants and political viewpoints. La Colonie Volvox was formed 2002 in Skopje, Macedonia by several enthusiastic musicians, determined to dig deep into the avant-garde, aside from their regular engagements.
