Greatest Hits is a compilation album by American oducer Richard Marx. This disc contains fourteen of Marx's single releases, plus "Touch of Heaven," a promotional single from the 1997 album Flesh & Bone, and a new track, "Angel's Lullaby. This album was certified Platinum in the United Kingdom in 2013 for sales of 300,000 copies.

Greatest Hits is the first compilation disc by Richard Marx sold through Avon. This album contains every single released from Marx's first three discs, including an extra track, "Calling You", from the album Rush Street. All songs written by Richard Marx, except where noted. Take This Heart" (Richard Marx) - 4:10. Chains Around My Heart" (Marx/Fee Waybill) - 5:42. Calling You" (Marx/Bruce Gaitsch) - 4:42. Children of the Night" - 4:44. Hold On to the Nights" - 5:07.

Of the 16 tracks on this long-awaited greatest-hits album, nine of them hit the Top 10! Includes Right Here Waiting; Hold on to the Nights; Satisfied; Endless Summer Nights; Should've Known Better; Don't Mean Nothing; Angelita, and more. It's telling that Richard Marx broke into the music business singing backup vocals for Lionel Richie and writing songs with Kenny Rogers and Chicago, for he kept to the straightforward, middle-of-the-road approach of those acts once he became a recording artist in his own right-not that there's anything wrong with that.

Richard Marx's Greatest Hits performs a valuable service for his fans, collecting all of his hit singles - "Don't Mean Nothing," "Should've Known Better," "Endless Summer Nights," "Hold on to the Nights," "Satisfied," "Right Here Waiting," "Angela," "Children of the Night," "Keep Coming Back," "Hazard," "Take This Heart," "Now and Forever" - on one disc.

Greatest Hits is the third compilation album by Richard Marx. This album contains fourteen of Marx's hit releases, including "Touch of Heaven," a promotional single from the album Flesh & Bone, and "Angel's Lullaby. In 1951, Cleveland, Ohio disc jockey Alan Freed began playing rhythm and blues music for a multi-racial audience, debate surrounds which record should be considered the first rock and roll record. Other artists with rock and roll hits included Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Fats Domino, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis.
