Flex-Able was recorded and there was so much stuff left over from those days, I put a little record out - a 10-inch EP called Flex-Able Leftovers. It’s a weird little offspring. I only issued 2000 copies. Some time later, 4 out of the 8 tracks that made up Leftovers were issued on the CD of the American release of Flex-Able, and the entire EP was finally rereleased in 1998 with all new artwork and five bonus songs written during the same era but previously unrecorded for release.

Flex-Able is a music studio album recording by STEVE VAI (Prog Related/Progressive Rock) released in 1984 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette. Flex-able is the debut album from Steve Vai. It was released in 1984 and most of it was probably recorded while he was playing with Frank Zappa.

The Flex-Able Leftovers album, released on November 10, 1998 on Sony Records, contains five bonus tracks and is quite different from the original Flex-Able Leftovers EP. Unlike Steve Vai's other albums, which are mostly instrumental, almost all copies of Flex-Able Leftovers feature a Parental Advisory label, as a result of the song "Fuck Yourself" containing multiple profanities and sexual references.
