The Chick Corea Elektric Band is an album by jazz and fusion keyboard player Chick Corea, released in 1986. It is the eponymous debut album of the Chick Corea Elektric Band, which at that time also featured drummer Dave Weckl, bass player John Patitucci and guitarists Scott Henderson and Carlos Rios. This album can be described as "jazz-rock", though it is much closer to traditional jazz than the jazz-rock albums of the 1970s. The keyboard sounds on the album are typical for the mid-1980s.

Chick Corea Elektric Band, led by renowned pianist Chick Corea, is one of the most critically acclaimed jazz fusion bands of the past two decades. Following the demise of Return to Forever, Corea established the musical ensemble in 1986. The Elektric Band is greatly different in style in comparison with Return to Forever in that it signified a move away from rock-oriented fusion into a more Post-bop style.

The Chick Corea Elektric Band toured and recorded steadily up until 1993, after which they dis-banded, only to reform in 2004. The re-formed Elektric Band continues to record and tour to this day. The band is led by jazz virtuoso keyboardist Chick Corea, and over the years has also included John Patitucci, Frank Gambale, Dave Weckl, Eric Marienthal, Scott Henderson, Carlos Rios, Gary Novak, Jimmy Earl and Mike Miller.
