The first official release of this Greek band, from 1992, is a mixed affair. The first and last tracks have a similar sound - think early Bathory but with slightly better production. Other elements of early black metal are present: throat-shredding vocals, buzzsaw guitars, and a forceful pace. The title track keeps a moderate pace, but on the final song the tempo speeds up and is over with in half the time. The middle track, Falling Into The Absu, has a slower, more necro sound. The vocals on this track are buried under the riffs and alternate between whispers and Hellish rasps. All three tracks feature keyboards in a minor role, mainly serving to accent the melodies and provide an occult atmosphere.
