Héroes del Silencio is a Spanish rock band from Zaragoza (Aragon, Spain) formed by Juan Valdivia in 1984. In 1988 they released their official first studio album, El Mar No Cesa, then in 1990 they released their second album Senderos de Traición, El Espíritu del Vino was their third album released in 1993 and in 1995 they released their last studio album to date, the often praised Avalancha. This 2011 release of a show from their strenuous 1993 European tour takes Héroes del Silencio's discography to a grand total of four studio and five live official albums. Recorded at the Gin Club Rock in Koblenz, Germany and taped for German television, this often bootlegged set is culled mostly from the group's third and most successful album, El Espíritu del Vino, and captures Héroes del Silencio at the peak of their fabled intensity. This album was released in CD, DVD, and vinyl (plus DVD) formats.
