1 day. Porcupine Tree "Up the Downstair" 2LP 180gm Vinyl. The line up shown above for this album is, in fact, incorrect, as the band was, essentially, still just Stephen Wilson at this point, (although Colin Edwin appears on Always Never, and Richard Barbieri is on Up The Downstair. I have the 2004 remastered version, which comes in a digipak, along with the EP that came out round the same time, Staircase Infinities as a bonus disc.

Produced Feb 92-Jan 93. Drum recording and remix Nov-Dec 2004 Remastered Jan 2005. STAIRCASE INFINITIES. The Joke's On You remixed Dec 2004. Delerium logo courtesy of Delerium Music. Comes in a hard board sleeve with attached 12-page booklet including lyrics and a 16-page booklet of KScope's catalogue.

Up the Downstair is the second studio album by British progressive rock band Porcupine Tree, first released in June 1993. It was originally intended to be a double album set including the song "Voyage 34", which was instead released as a single in 1992, and other material that ended up on the Staircase Infinities EP (1994). It is the band's shortest studio album and the only one under 50 minutes in length

Up the Downstair (1993) by Porcupine Tree. Labels: Delerium Records. Genres: Progressive Metal, Progressive Rock Members: Steven Wilson, Colin Edwin, Richard Barbieri, Suzanne J. Barbieri, Gavin Harrison, Alan Duffy. Disc two is a remastered version of the mini album containing left over material from the original Up the Downstair sessions. NB: The LP version of this remaster contains an additional bonus track "Phantoms" (3:15) on the 'Staircase Infinities' disc at the end of side . .2). Megametal (90/100). druhé album je podarenejšie, nápaditejšie a je zbavené zbytočnej vaty.

The band porcupine tree was basically all Steven Wilson up until the end of 1993 when he started performing live with Richard Barbieri, and Colin Edwin who helped with the album but were not official band member at the time of the original recordings. Up the Downstair was originally supposed to be a double album, but eventually brought down to a single album. Three of the other songs that were supposed to be on the double album but were discarded, you can hear on Staircase Infinities. Along with 2 new tracks. Steven was going for a atmospheric sound on this album.
