Choronzon is the third studio album by English death metal band Akercocke. It was released on 4 November 2003, through Earache Records. The sample at the start of the album is from the opening scene of the Hammer House of Horror episode "Guardian of the Abyss". A promotional music video was released for the track "Leviathan", and was shot by Kerrang!'s Paul Harries.

The first release from the conjoined Choronzon was the double album "New World Chaos" and "Complicity Simplexity" in 2005.

Akercocke is a Blackened Death Metal band from London. They are unlike any band I have ever heard. The vocals, provided by Jason Mendonca, range from high, piercing shrieks to low guttural growls. The guitar playing contains memorable heavy riffs, solos, and melodic slow playing.
