The back cover artwork contains "COPY No" and a rectangle with "/300". My copy however has "0" written (with a felt tip marker) in the rectangle, so copy 0 of 300, which does not make a lot of sense. The band told me it is not "0" (zero) but "o" (title of the album) and confirmed that it was indeed a limited edition of 300.

I've got the same. Seems the band did not number the copies, but wrote "o" on every copy.

That's right. As far as I know that's a joke about all those limited editions. Trying to get the lowest number, paying too much on ebay and so on :) So all of the copies are 0/300.And the album's title is actually zero but depicted as a circle - "o". That is where the sign for 0 comes from.
