Unplugged (The Official Bootleg) is a live unplugged performance by Paul McCartney, recorded and released in 1991. Following the vastness of his world tour recently captured on Tripping the Live Fantastic, McCartney relished the opportunity to strip back his songs and appear on the newly launched acoustic-only show MTV Unplugged. Consequently, McCartney was the first in a long line of artists to release an unplugged album.

On the last FM page you can listen to their full length and most famous album Esoderic Mania, released in 1988 on the TranRecords label. Apparently, from what you can read, certain members of the band were previously part of Human bullet , a hardcore punk band from the beginning of the 80’s. Another very good band with female vocals is G-Schmitt. It is a really high quality typically Gothic band: the compositions are really well done, and the voice is really nice too. Formed in 1983, split in 1990, their singer Syoko seemed to had a solo carrier after that.

I figured that as Unplugged would be screened around the world there was every chance that some bright spark would tape the show and turn it into a bootleg, so we decided to bootleg the show ourselves.
