Purple Haze is the fourth studio album by Harlem rapper Cam'ron. The album was released on December 7, 2004, by Roc-A-Fella Records, Diplomat Records and Def Jam Recordings. The release of this album was delayed several times from November 2003, the first single "Get Em Girls" was released a year prior to the actual album release. The album debuted at number 20 on the Billboard 200 with 123,000 copies sold in its first week.

Cam'ron, Dash's friend and one of Roc-A-Fella's flagship artists, attempted to leave the label as well, saying that Roc-A-Fella hadn't given Purple Haze an adequate promotional push- which is strange considering the album had been in stores for less than a week. Cam's departure from Roc-A-Fella is still in doubt

This lack of quality control will both provide ammo for Diplomat haters and frustrate Diplomat supporters, even if there's a durable 45-minute album in here somewhere. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA Track listing.

Cameron Ezike Giles (born February 4, 1976 in Harlem, New York), better known as Cam'ron or Killa Cam, is an American rapper, actor, co-founder of Diplomat Records and of the group The Diplomats, also known as Dipset. He began his musical career in 1994, rapping alongside Big L, Mase and his cousin Bloodshed in a group called Children Of The Corn. The group dissolved after Bloodshed's death in a car accident in 1997. However, Cam'ron continued to rap, and he released his solo debut album, Confessions of Fire, in 1998. He has since released 2000's .
