Live to Win is the second solo studio album from Kiss vocalist, guitarist and co-founder Paul Stanley, released on October 24, 2006. The album's title track was featured in the South Park episode "Make Love, Not Warcraft", twenty days prior to the album's release. Stanley last released a solo album in 1978, Paul Stanley, which was officially released as a Kiss album.

In 1978, Paul Stanley of Kiss released his first solo album as part of a plan to keep his fracturing band together. The Chicago stop on the tour, which blended songs from both Stanley solo albums with Kiss hits and rarities, was released two years later as the home video and live album One Live Kiss. With Stanley setting the rules (no ballads, no outside songwriters) and taking control of the producer's chair, Kiss ended a by-then decade-plus long absence from the studio three years later with 2009's back-to-basics Sonic Boom, and followed that well-received album in 2012 with the even coarser Monster

That honor goes to 1978's Paul Stanley (which was released in conjunction with solo releases by the three other Kiss members), an album so Kiss-like that the singer's full-time band could have easily stamped their logo on it and issued it as the studio follow-up to 1977's Love Gun. Nearly 30 years later, Stanley is ready to step out on his own again, and this time around, it's not the arena anthems you'd expect. In its place is a modern-day mainstream pop/rock production, which effectively smoothes out all the rough edges
