So the track with Count Bass D is named "Let Them Eat Steak" and not Qidar as credited on many youtube videos, sadly this track was never released on vinyl and was a japan-only cd thing.

Some logos and texts on the cover of this version look somehow blurry or pixelated, barcode and myspace website text look sharp though.

This was exactly the same on the 2014 repress, sleeve looks like it was scanned and scaled up from the original CD sleeve

Mine has a fault on tracks 8 and 9 like some wierd white stuff stuck in the grooves so annoyed as its such an amazing and rare record. Has anyone else had this problem?

I bought this copy in february 2013, so wonder about the release date of this reissue!!! The pressing has the cat # kifhh 120lp. Anyone else knows something???

Me too, i bought this copy in the past before 2014 ! the copy on cover is KIFHH120LP!!! for me is wrong this description.... i know in the past was add "LP" in original first press to make difference by CD.

This is the music we are all waiting for, never discover, until we do and fall in love with. Then we start to search for equal beauties and enter into a whole new world.

On my second pressing the logo background as well as the additional shirt with size L is white. This makes it again a little bit harder to distinguish the pressings, as there seems to be inconsistency with the copies on the market.

There're 2 different pressings of this release in existance. The 1st pressing came with CD, 6x12" and T-Shirt in a box. 300 Shirts were sponsored by Carhartt. The shirts in XL size were white and those in L were off grey material. Now that they pressed 500 pieces they needed to print 200 additional shirts, which were printed on B&C shirts. These shirts had a smaller logo as well as off less-quality material. The second run looks almost the same, but the shirts inside were printed on black shirts and had a different logo on them. The pressings are not easy to differentiate, but possible when you take a look at the Jazz-Liberatorz logo on the upper left corner. The very first pressing has a white background, while the reissue has a pink background. This is the most significant creteria. Though you have to keep in mind that not all of the 2nd pressing are comming with a T-Shirt. When i was in France last year, i had the chance to check the boxes. Only 1 out of 5 had a black shirt inside and was priced higher, so make sure to ask before you purchase. If you're after the music, you'll be skating cheaper when you purchase just the 12"es, which were pressed individually before they were put into the box.

Quite frankly there are too few albums like this one to get the image of violent and mostly crappy gangstarapping off the Hip Hop. It's unfortunate Guru, Mos Def, Tableek and other fellas relating to this particular genre get lost in between the mainstream MTV-promoted (c)rap. It's very hard to point out the very best tracks on the album cos it's equally superb and surely a must-have for all of you appreciating French Hip Hop. Let's hope this is not the last album of these Hip Hop liberators.
