Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen (born September 23, 1949), nicknamed "The Boss", is an American singer-songwriter who is a solo artist and is the leader of the E Street Band. Side One and Side Three was recorded live at the Royal Albert Hall, London, in April, 2/3/4 with the Mobile Sound System.

Side Two and Side Four was recorded live at the Olympia, Paris, in May 10/11 with the "N.V.S."

The album was totally remixed at "Saints & Sinners" Los Angeles, California.
