The truth, however, is that Streisand was already a singing sensation in Greenwich Village clubs like Bon Soir and the Blue Angel. I purchased the MP3 version of this CD. The first thing you'll immediately notice is just how crisp and clear Barbra's voice sounds. That is not by accident. Thanks must go to John Arrias at B&J Studio for restoring this release and Bernie Grundman for remastering it. Thus, the sound quality is astounding. Most 60's fidelity was questionable at best, but after restoration her voice sounds as though it could have been recorded yesterday.
