Luz III is the third studio album of the Spanish female Rock singer-songwriter Luz Casal released in 1985, only one year after "Los ojos del gato" (her previous work). The singer started working in this third album short after finishing the recording of her preceding album and after its subsequent tours and TV appearances. As usual, Casal wrote the most of the nine songs except from one cover and some other collaborations. Carlos Narea, and Roque Narvaja, were, as usual, the executive producers of this album amongst others. Luz III. Studio album by.
Luz is the debut album by Spanish singer-songwriter Luz Casal, released in September 1982 under the now defunct record label Zafiro. The recording of the album started in 1981, when she left her former record label seeking less control over her personal and creative life. Due to this change, her previous single releases "La guapa" (The beautiful girl), and "El ascensor" (The elevator), released in 1977 and 1980 respectively, were not included in this record.

Luz Casal (born November 11, 1958 at Boimorto, Galicia) is a Spanish pop singer. She grew up in Asturias, took singing, piano and ballet classes, and moved to Madrid to pursue a career as a musician.
In this album, Luz Casal maintains her rock side of her previous releases with strong guitars and powerful drums, in some of the songs such as "Tu orgullo", she even combines those vibes with country music sounds, but in general, the ballads keep on gaining more and more space in this album. As in the previous record, five songs were released as Maxi singles in this album, the first one was "Un pedazo de cielo" (A piece of heaven), which follows the usual style of the singer.
