Gabrielle Leithaug (born 10 January 1985 in Bergen, Norway) better known by her mononym artist name Gabrielle is a Norwegian Electropop singer signed to Universal Music. She lived 8 or 9 years in Hordvik in Bergen's Åsane borough. Her family then lived in the city Bergen for a year, before moving to Bønes in Bergen's Fyllingsdalen borough. She attended upper secondary school in Fyllingsdalen, for one year, and later attended "Katten".

Solveig Leithaug made her initial debut in the United States at the Christian Artists' Music Seminar in Estes Park, Colorado, in 1985-86. Since then she has appeared in numerous festivals and concerts from coast to coast. Recognized as Norway's top female vocalist (1985's Artist of the Year), Solvieg has an extensive ministry performing in gospel concerts and touring throughout Scandinavia as well as Europe. Solvieg writes all of her own music and plays acoustic guitar on her records and in her concerts.
