József Németh (1931 - 2012) was a Hungarian pop singer, guitarist, and actor. Németh first made his name in the early 1960s, when he and Mikes Évával peformed "Angéla", the theme song for the film Téli szerelem. He released his first single in 1963, followed by many others over the years. He also followed a career in musical cinema, and was a frequent performer at pop festivals and other concerts. He eventually defected to Germany, but returned to Hungary in the early 1990s, occasionally performing at various events. He died on the 15th May 2012.
