He chose 'Bye Bye Blues' by Guy Lombardo & His Royal Canadians as one of his favourite records of all time and said: "Any time I walk up on the stage with Guy Lombardo, I’m relaxed. Lombardo led a dramatic life. One night in Chicago in 1927, gangster George Malone shot two hoodlums in the Granada Ballroom, where Lombardo was playing. Lombardo knew Presidents Roosevelt, Truman, and Nixon and played several engagements at the White House. This photograph was from 1966.
