Warda Al-Jazairia (Arabic: وردة الجزائرية‎ 22 July 1939 – 17 May 2012) was an Algerian singer who was well known for her Egyptian Arabic songs and music. Her name literally meant Warda the Algerian, but she was sometimes referred to as just Warda (Egyptian Arabic: meaning "Rose") or as "The Algerian Rose" in the Arab world. Warda Fatouki was born in 1939 in Puteaux, France, to an Algerian father and a Lebanese mother. She started singing at the age of eleven in 1951.

Warda Al-Jazairia (Arabic: وردة الجزائرية‎), commonly referred to as just Warda (Arabic: وردة‎, IPA: ) (July 1939 - May 17, 2012) was a French-born Algerian singer. She is well known for her Egyptian songs and music. She died on May 17, 2012 in Cairo. Warda was born in Puteaux, France to a Lebanese Mother and Algerian father. She quickly became well known for her singing of patriotic Algerian songs.
